Websites for electricians in Melbourne

They're about to let a stranger into the switchboard.

Electrical work is bought on trust, not on price. A homeowner comparing three sparkies is really asking one question: which of these people is safe to have in my house. We build sites for Melbourne electricians that answer that in four seconds, then chase the high-value jobs you're currently invisible for.

What's actually costing you

Three things that only happen to sparkies.

Your day gets eaten by $180 call-outs.

A dead powerpoint and a full switchboard upgrade sound identical when the phone rings. You drive across town for a two-hour job while the four-thousand-dollar one goes to whoever could get there Thursday. Nothing on your site sizes the job before it turns into a call, so every enquiry costs you the same amount of time regardless of what it's worth.

The money moved and your site didn't.

Switchboard upgrades, safety switch compliance, EV charger installs, three-phase upgrades, LED retrofits, smoke alarm compliance for rentals. These are the searches worth having and they're specific — nobody types "electrician" when they want an EV charger installed. A site with one "Services" page ranks for none of them.

You look identical to the unlicensed bloke.

Half the operators in the market can't produce a licence number and don't publish one. If yours isn't on the site before the customer scrolls, you've thrown away the one advantage you paid four years to earn. Same with insurance, and with the certificate of electrical safety you issue on every job — customers don't know that's a legal requirement until you tell them.

What we build for an electrical business

Compliance forward, high-value work first.

Licence and REC number above the fold

Your electrical licence, your Registered Electrical Contractor number, your insurance, and a plain sentence about the certificate of electrical safety you issue. Outcome: the trust question is settled before they've scrolled, which is where you beat the cheap quote.

A page for every job worth having

Switchboard upgrades, safety switches, EV charger installation, three-phase power, rewiring, LED lighting upgrades, smoke alarms, rental compliance checks. Outcome: you show up for the specific searches attached to the specific money.

A calculator that sorts the $180 from the $4,500

Job type, property age, single or three-phase, number of circuits. They get a bracket, you get a qualified call. Outcome: your driving hours go to jobs that are actually worth driving to.

A landlord and agent track

Rental compliance checks are recurring, predictable, low-drama revenue and most sparkies have no page for them. Outcome: property managers can find you and set up a run of repeat work.

Suburb pages for your real service area

The suburbs you'll drive to, each with its own page and your genuine response time. Outcome: "electrician Boronia" lands on a page about Boronia instead of a generic homepage.

Missed-call text-back from launch

Your hands are in a live board and the phone's in the van. Sixty seconds later they get a text with your name asking what the job is. Outcome: the call you couldn't safely take doesn't become a lost job.

Standard $1,200 build plus $100/month Site Care. None of this is an add-on. Full pricing.

Sparky questions

Things electricians ask us

Most of my work is subbing for builders. Is a site worth it?

If you're happy being fully booked by two builders, no — spend the $1,200 on something else and we'll tell you that on the call.

Where it earns its money is when you want to change the mix: direct domestic work pays better per hour than subbing and gets paid faster, and it doesn't disappear when one builder's pipeline dries up. If that's the goal, the site is how you get there.

Is EV charger work actually worth building a page for?

It's a specific, high-intent, high-value search with far less competition than "electrician", and the customer has already spent a lot of money on a car. That's a good combination.

It's also the sort of job where the customer researches before they ring, which means a page that explains load assessment, single versus three-phase and what an install actually involves does most of the selling for you.

Can you handle the compliance side — certificates, safety switch rules?

We write the pages that explain it to customers in plain English, which is worth a lot because most of them have no idea what's required.

We don't give compliance advice and we don't put a claim on your site that you haven't confirmed. You tell us what you're licensed and registered to do, and we say exactly that and nothing more.

I do commercial as well as domestic. Can one site do both?

Yes, but they need separate paths from the homepage, because a facilities manager and a homeowner want completely different things in completely different words.

Commercial buyers want response times, insurance limits, after-hours capability and a contact who answers. Homeowners want your licence number and photos. We build both tracks rather than averaging them into something that convinces neither.
