Case studies

Real names. Live sites. Go and check.

There are two so far, and both are recent. Every business on this page exists and every site is online — you can search the name, ring the number, and ask them what we were like to deal with. That's the point of a case study.

What you won't find here: a stock photo of a stranger in a hard hat next to a fake company name, or a percentage with no business attached to it. If we can't attribute a result to a real client who's agreed to us publishing it, it doesn't go on the page.

And the bit most portfolios leave out: both of these came to us through people we know. That's how a studio this young gets its first clients, and we'd rather tell you than let you assume a pipeline we haven't built yet. Ask us on the call who else we're working with — you'll get a straight answer.

Live builds

Two sites, both online right now.

Go and look at them. That's the point of putting real names on a page.

The Driven Detailing homepage on a phone: the logo, the line Precision in every finish, and Book now and Call or text buttons

Mobile car detailing · Wantirna South

Driven Detailing

A fully mobile detailer working across Melbourne's east. No shopfront — they drive to the customer's home or workplace, which changes what the website has to do.

The brief
Answer "do you come to me?" and "what does it cost?" before anyone picks up the phone, and make booking possible by text — because their customers would rather text than call.
What we built
A single-page site with Call and Text to book pinned in the header at every scroll position. Services and pricing published in full rather than hidden behind an enquiry. A service-area section that states the Wantirna South base and that a travel fee applies with distance. Hours, reviews and contact all reachable from one nav.
What it does
Someone who lands on that page can see whether they're in range, what the job costs, and can start a booking by text in one tap. The travel-fee question gets answered on the page instead of on a phone call.
Nice detail
Driven+ — a section for repeat customers, so the site sells the second visit as well as the first.
The Sunday Suite homepage on a phone: the monogram, the line A moment to reset, and Book an appointment and View services buttons

Nail studio · Scoresby

Sunday Suite

A one-chair private studio doing luxury acrylic sets, hand-finished one-on-one, by appointment only. Everything about the business is unhurried, and the site had to feel like that without getting in the way of a booking.

The brief
Attract the right client rather than the most clients. Set expectations up front — private studio, appointment only, one person at a time — so nobody arrives expecting a walk-in salon.
What we built
A calm, photography-led site in warm neutrals with a serif display face — deliberately the opposite of a trade site, because it's a different buyer. Book Now in the header and again in the hero. Sets from $30 stated in the hero so the price question is answered immediately. Separate Your Visit and FAQ pages doing the work of a first consultation.
What it does
A first-time client can see the work, the starting price, what a visit is actually like and what happens if they need to reschedule, then book — without messaging to ask any of it.
Nice detail
A dedicated Sets gallery, because in this trade the portfolio is the sales pitch.

No lead numbers on this page yet. Both sites are recent and we'd rather show you nothing than show you a figure we can't stand behind. Once call tracking has a full quarter behind it, the numbers go here.

The same shape every time

What we build for a trade business

The copy and the photos change. The structure doesn't, because this is the structure that turns a search into a phone call.

A homepage that answers three questions

What do you do, where do you do it, and how fast can you get here. In that order, above the fold, on a phone. Everything else is below.

One page per service you want more of

Not a bullet list on one page. A page each, because that's how search works — and because "hot water repairs Rowville" is a different customer to "bathroom renovation".

Suburb pages for where you actually drive

The suburbs you'll take work in, each with a real page. This is the difference between showing up for "electrician" and showing up for "electrician Boronia".

A quote calculator

They put in the job type and the rough size, they get a bracket. The ones who ring you have already accepted the number, so you stop quoting jobs that were never going to happen.

Proof, above the fold

Licence number, insurance, review rating, photos of your work — not a stock library. A first-time customer is deciding whether to let you into their house.

A tracked number and a text-back

Installed before launch. From day one you can see which calls came from the site, and the ones you miss get a text within a minute.
