Websites for HVAC & refrigeration in Melbourne

Four weeks a year decide your income.

The first 38-degree week in January and the first proper cold snap in June. Everyone rings at once, you physically cannot answer, and the ones you miss go to whoever could. We build sites for Melbourne HVAC businesses that survive the spike — and fill the nine quiet months in between.

What's actually costing you

Three things that only happen in heating and cooling.

The spike drowns you and you lose the overflow permanently.

Heatwave hits Tuesday. By Wednesday you're booked out for eleven days and the phone hasn't stopped. Every one of those calls you can't take is gone — not deferred, gone — because someone with a dead ducted unit in 40-degree heat rings until somebody answers. You never even find out how many there were.

Nine months of the year you're chasing work you already earned.

You've installed hundreds of systems. Every one of them needs a service, a filter, a gas top-up, a pre-summer check. That's a predictable recurring income sitting in your job history, and almost nobody in this trade has a way to trigger it. So autumn goes quiet and you take whatever comes.

A $9,000 install and a $180 regas are the same phone call.

Ducted replacement, multi-head split install, evaporative changeover, commercial coolroom repair, warranty service. Completely different customers, completely different money, completely different search terms — and one "Air Conditioning" page ranks for none of them properly. Meanwhile the install enquiries, which are the ones worth having, take the longest to close and get the least follow-up.

What we build for an HVAC business

Built for the spike, and for the flat bit after it.

Online booking that works when the phone can't

During a heatwave the phone is a bottleneck, not a channel. A booking calendar showing your real next available slot takes the overflow. Outcome: the customer books themselves into day nine instead of ringing your competitor.

Honest lead times, published

"Next available: Thursday" on the page during a spike. Counter-intuitive, and it works — people accept a wait if they're told, and they leave if they're not. Outcome: you keep the job instead of losing it to a vague voicemail.

A service plan page, and automation behind it

Annual service plans with a page that sells the reason: a system that's been serviced doesn't die on the hottest day. Outcome: recurring revenue in autumn and spring, and a customer who rings you first when it does break.

Separate paths for install and repair

Ducted replacement, split system install, evaporative cooling, gas ducted heating, hydronic, coolroom and commercial refrigeration — a page each. Outcome: the $9,000 searches and the $180 searches both find the right page.

Quote-chase that survives a long decision

A ducted replacement is a family conversation that takes weeks. Lead Engine chases at day 2, 5 and 12 without you doing anything. Outcome: the quote you sent in November closes in December instead of going quiet.

Missed-call text-back during the spike

The single highest-value thing you can have in a heatwave. Sixty seconds after a call you couldn't take, they get a text with your name and a booking link. Outcome: the overflow you'd normally lose entirely turns into next week's work.

Booking calendar and quote-chase are on Lead Engine at $297/month. The build, suburb pages, tracking and text-back are the standard $1,200 plus $100/month. Full pricing.

HVAC questions

Things heating and cooling businesses ask us

I'm flat out every summer already. What would this even do?

Two things. First, it lets you charge properly — when you're visibly booked out and taking bookings anyway, you stop discounting to win work you didn't need to win.

Second, and this is the bigger one: it fixes the other nine months. Service plans, pre-summer checks and follow-up on old installs turn a spiky year into a flatter one, which is worth more than another week of January.

Should I really publish my lead times during a heatwave?

Yes. A customer told "next available Thursday" will often take Thursday. A customer who gets voicemail assumes you're not interested and rings the next one.

It also filters out the people who genuinely need someone today — those calls go elsewhere, which is fine, because you couldn't have serviced them anyway and now you're not carrying the guilt or the bad review.

Can you handle commercial refrigeration as well as domestic aircon?

Yes, and they need to be separate tracks from the homepage. A restaurant owner with a failing coolroom at 6am and a homeowner pricing a ducted replacement have nothing in common.

Commercial buyers want response time, after-hours capability and a contact who answers. That's a different page, different words, and usually a different phone treatment.

Do you deal with the rebate and warranty side?

We'll write clear pages explaining what a customer needs to know about warranty terms and any rebate schemes you actually work with, in plain English — that's a real differentiator because most people find it confusing.

We don't make claims about eligibility on your behalf. You confirm what's current and accurate, we write exactly that, and we update it when the schemes change.
